
We previously reported on GoPro planning to launch a new Hero11 Black action camera. Now a new report has revealed the launch schedule as well as some of its key specifications.
Just a few days ago we reported on the leak of the design of the next-generation flagship action camera from this American camera manufacturer Hero11 Black. Now a new report has revealed that the GoPro Hero11 Black has a new CMOS sensor that also offers a wider field of view compared to its predecessor. This new image sensor in the upcoming action camera has a resolution of 27 megapixels, which is an upgrade from the 23.6 megapixel sensor in the last generation Hero10.

Also, the new camera will reportedly let you take photos from the 24.7-megapixel display, which is another improvement over the Hero10’s 19-megapixel images. For video, the report claims the Hero11 Black can shoot at 5.3K resolution at 60fps. Apparently, it will also be capable of shooting 4K video at 120fps. Notably, the new action camera also comes with Hyper Smooth 5.0 enhanced image stabilization.



At the front, the device has a similar 1.4-inch display as the previous generation, while at the rear it has a 2.27-inch touchscreen. The GoPro Hero11 Black is said to be powered by the same 1720mAh battery and also features the same waterproof design that can withstand up to 10 meters underwater. The Hero11 Black model is expected to feature the same GP2 processor, although some improvements are expected on the software front.
