Imran Khan’s scheduled hearing will take place where he is being held today rather than at the Islamabad court, the police informed the media on Wednesday.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which detained Imran Khan on Tuesday, is expected to keep him in its care for up to four or five days as the bureau asks the court for the longest possible remand permitted by law, Pakistani news outlet Dawn said, citing sources.
He was detained while attending an Islamabad High Court hearing for the Al-Qadir Trust case, in which he and his wife are charged with accepting unauthorised funds.
