India’s 1st Privately-Built Rocket Vikram-S Launch Shortly

This private company Scirocate successfully launched their rocket from Sriharikota, India’s Satish Dhawan Space Center. The name of the rocket is Vikram-S, which will be released from the launch pad in Sriharikota.

India is set to create a new history. For the first time, a rocket built by a private company will be launched. The name of the private company is Skirocate, and their rocket called Vikram-S will be released from the launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, ISRO. This will be a test flight of Vikram-S rocket. Learn what makes this program different from all others and how it got its name!

Lanching in the second week of November: Vikram-S has been prepared by the Skyut Aerospace Company based in Hyderabad, India. ISRO has set the launch time to between 12 and 16 November 2022. This mission is named PRARAMBH. The dedication of this program’s rocket was given to Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and named after him, Vikram-S.

This Vikram-S rocket will take three commercial payloads with it. This is something of a test. If this test succeeds, India will join the company of countries where private space companies are able to launch rockets .. It can be a major achievement for the country.

“Rocket launch costs will be reduced by 40%”: The 3D printed cryogenic engine in the rocket was tested and was successful. Skyroate Aerospace, an industry based in Nagpur, tested their first 3D printed cryogenic engine on November 25, 2021. Due to it, launching the rocket with liquid natural gas and liquid oxygen will yield a cost-saving of 40%. The company also said that the use of LNG and liquid oxygen will prove to be economical.
