Earlier this month, we saw the Vivo Y02 entry-level phone fully leaked on the company’s website, and now vivo has officially launched the device in the Philippines. The Y02s is the successor to the vivo Y01 that was released earlier this year and packs a lot of specs.
The Y02s screen is still 6.51 inches and has HD+ resolution. The selfie camera housed in the teardrop notch is a 5-megapixel camera, while there’s an 8-megapixel module on the back and a second punch-hole for the LED flash.
This phone still uses the Helio P35 chip with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The software front is covered with Android 12 with FunTouchOS 12 on top compared to the Y01 and its Android 11 (Go version) with Funtouch 11.1. You also get a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
The Vivo Y02s comes in black and blue colors and retails for PHP 6,499 ($116) in a 32GB/3GB package.
