Vivo’s innovative price range, the Y series, expects a premium from several new products. The latest Chinese brand Vivo Y35 was officially launched in Indonesia a few days ago, and now Y22 has been launched in Vietnam. Remain Y16, Y01A and Y22. All of them appear on the market one after another.
After several leaks, certification listings, preview mockups and a fresh real-life image, the Vivo Y22s has finally arrived in Vietnam with the Snapdragon 680 SoC. It is also expected that this phone will soon appear in other countries. Let’s take a quick look at the all-new Y22.
The weight of this phone is about 192 grams and its dimensions are 164.30 x 76.10 x 8.38mm. In terms of looks, the Vivo Y22 renders leaked a few days ago are pretty much in line with the real deal. Looking at the back design of the phone, we see Vivo’s gradient sky blue color on the right and the new dark blue color on the left. It has rounded corners and sleek metal rings around the phone.
The volume buttons and the power button seem to be placed on the right side. The power key acts as a fingerprint scanner on the sides. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera, while on the back is a rectangular notch around the camera and two large lenses inside. The dual design allows you to take pictures with a 50-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel auxiliary macro sensor.
The Vivo Y22s features a 6.55-inch LCD display with a maximum resolution of 1080p and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The new addition to Vivo’s price catalog runs Android 12 x Funtouch 12 and uses a Snapdragon 680 (6nm) chipset to power it. You can choose between Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan shades.
The phone connects to a compact 5000mAh battery for power and charging with an 18W power bank. The Y22s offers 8GB of RAM plus 128GB of storage starting at VND 59,90,000 or roughly Rs 55,000.
