Xiaomi’s upcoming 12T Pro is rumored to have a 200MP primary camera on the back, and in mid-August an image was leaked that claimed to show its camera island. Today, another leaked image, this time showing a render of the Xiaomi 12T Pro next to the Redmi Pad, confirms the island design and the presence of a 200MP camera.

It’s from one of Twitter’s most prolific sources, and the juxtaposition of the 12T Pro and the unannounced Redmi Pad is interesting, as the latter will have to settle for an 8-megapixel camera on the back. They’re very different devices, one in the ‘T’ line of ‘affordable flagships’ or ‘flagship killers’ if you will, the other clearly intended to be a budget entry-level tablet.
Despite their differences, both are coming soon and there is a possibility that they may even be unveiled at the same time. Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K50 Ultra launched last month for the Chinese market, with the only upgrade being the main camera.
If this is resolved, then expect the 12T Pro to come with a 6.67-inch 1220×2712 OLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, 8/12GB RAM, 128/256/512GB internal storage, 8MP ultra-wide. . , 2 megapixel macro camera, 20 megapixel selfie camera and 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging.
Of these specs, the SoC and odd screen resolution are both confirmed by a listing on the Google Play console.
